Here are the posters shown at the mid- term presentation last monday. This week we were working on te artificial landscape where the organs get pluged in/on to.

This is group C

during the first meeting we were talking about the way how we are going to cooperate.

we decided to have a common sense theme. This theme and therefore conceptual orientation point is: “Heimat” The Subtitle of the theme is: ‘home is where your heart is’
subsequently we decided to collect our demands and input and output rules into 1 big pool and then position our organs in relation to each other with the help of this rules.

Here is the collection of demands came in today- they will be worked out into the from of a diagram.

Roxana [Organzing] –>clustered Offices

connected with the departments- building should be able to mediate relationships- closest relationship with socializing-direct connection with supplying- learning, designing, and research mediated by supplying and socializing spaces

Erwin [Supplying] –>Supplying Nodes

scattered around the entire building- connecting between organs- no regular food supply since this is provided by Tade- integrated into design area and socializing- expecting from skin insufficient daylight, outlook, ventilation possibilities

Catte [Designing] –> 3D Hanging Surface

- Connected with Ervins supplying nodes to “hold up” my structur

- Through Ervin connection with Agatas socializing

- Tades and my structure are both connected to the roof and should merge somewhere…

- Connection with Ms3 roof construction to take forces from my structure.

- A darker area with less sunlight over the sleeping area.

Tade [Supplying] –> Canteen

Changing between different states of supplying, changing between different states of spatial composition.

Asking other organs to change their behavior as a part of the canteens behavior.

Ask to: provide space for sitting opportunities. Provide different kinds of sitting opportunities. (separated booths, great halls) This could happen in the design areas or the socializing.

- Asking the skin: to provide more natural light, provide more air, open tota lly,for direct sunlight

reguirements from the skin:
- sunlight - just in some parts
- acoustics (in some parts silence appreciated in the others doesn’t matter)
- airflow ( the components are air-permeable so they let the air pass through)
the other functions:
socializing component connects the other functions:
-the entrance with organization, design, research and learning and all those functions with each other
-but the supply can be located inside of socializing space ( coffie machines, small bars/shops)
- considering the technical issues, since it’s connecting other functions I need them to be able to “anchor” somehow the socializing space

-connection to learning (we don’t have it so we have to think about because is quite important for the faculty), organizing and socializing maybe
-two entrance from each of my neighbors (to each of two different spaces Ive got)
-sunlight - yes in every part of my facility
-airflow, acoustics - no demands
-localization - in between other functions

dealing so far with parameters like - sunlight- heat- rainwater- airflow- noise(?)- information(?)

the org ans should be integrated into each other and not formed like closed bubbles . Other ways the whole skin efforts would be useless.
