Final presentation - Technical studies 1 - Thursday, 23th October 2008 at 13.45, Red Room/ Central Library

Please be prepared to give a 4min presentation explaining your concept with focus on following issues:

- Integration of architectural form and engineering issues
- Technical details (structure & materials & building technology)

Deliverables:

- 1 A1 poster including following:
- description (text, sketches, diagrams) of the design idea and main building components (integration of materials and engineering)
- drawings (plans & sections, scale 1:20 / 1:50 / 1:100 depending on project size)
- details (at least 2 key details, scale 1:5)
- 3-dimensional rendering/ visualisation

Evaluation:

Your project will be evaluated regarding the above mentioned issues and deliverables.

We will be there from 13.30, please submit your poster (hard copy + pdf-file, named TS1Poster_yourName.pdf) and your powerpoint presentation (TS1Pres_yourName.ppt) before 13.45.

On Thursday, 09th October Prof. Thijs Asselbergs (Chair of Architectural Engineering, TU Delft) will be be present as a visiting critic. Everybody is asked to prepare a 5min presentation to show the focus of his/ her technical studies, followed by a brief discussion. Start is at 13.45 at Red Room in Central Library.
